Revitalise Your Workspace
A well-designed office space has an impact on productivity, morale and office culture. Designing for the brand
With strict brand guidelines, Iceotope and APSS worked together to create a new office design for its existing space. The space was designed for purpose including a white board wall (also known as an Idealisation Wall) for the team to better communicate their ideas and planning strategies. Break-out areas allow for staff to take a break from their screen or just provide an alternative place to work which helps boost productivity.
The Outcome
The flooring was divided into sections with carpet for the workspace, and vinyl flooring for the walkway and kitchen space. These are high-risk areas for spillage from drinks and food which make the hard floors a perfect addition to the office space due to its easy cleaning capabilities.
Iceotope’s new open-plan office design has created a better working environment for staff and acts as an additional benefit to working for the company, helping to better attract a new level of talent into the business.

The Delivery
A biophilic design is captured throughout the office interior with greenery hanging from the ceiling as well as green feature walls acting as dividers between spaces. The greenery also acts as a sound dampener and reduces excess noise across the office. Suspended ceiling rafts throughout the office add to the sound suppression in the louder areas.
Private soundproof meeting booths were installed for both one on one meetings as well as virtual meetings and a self-irrigating planter wall on the side connects the pod to blend in with the remainder of the office design, providing a low maintenance way of bringing nature inside. The benefit of real plants in an office environment includes helping to purify the air, reduce excessive moisture and boost productivity by providing that link to nature.
