"Tucked in the corner of a live retail park, the site was very tight for space and the works had to be sequenced and managed very carefully. The APSS site manager James was always on top of everything and provided frequent updates to the project team and other tenants on the park.
For such a small unit, there were some challenges along the way, but APSS completed the works to a high standard and both client and tenant are looking forward to the restaurant being open for trading soon."

Property development firm Litchford Consulting required the design and build of a new single-storey brick building with a composite roof. This included external works incorporating drainage works, paving and a new car park to the rear. The building would be used as a KFC pod on The Paddock, a busy retail park in Weybridge.
Owing to the location of the site in the retail park, there was very little space to facilitate the build. Construction brought the building out close to the road and meant that additional precautions were taken into consideration for the safety of both staff and other users of the retail park in addition to ensuring access to the rear of the buildings for deliveries. The new build also required services including, gas water and electricity to be added. APSS worked closely with statutory authorities to ensure this was done smoothly and with minimal disruption.
The project was completed in a tight timeframe to align with the client’s expectations and has been handed over to the client ready for the final fit out.
APSS provided a full design and build service which involved carefully co-ordinating the external works to ensure full access was maintained to adjacent retail units.
APSS has a strong working relationship with Litchford Consulting having worked with them for many years on successful projects including the adjacent TK Maxx.
