Lincolnshire-based commercial interior design and fit out firm APSS has provided a new look for the regional offices of national managed print services provider Apogee Corporation Ltd – creating positive breakout areas for its 300 team members.
Following a significant investment, the company has maximised its space at Jesson House, Witham St Hughs, Lincolnshire, increasing capacity for employee welfare and breakout facilities, whilst not reducing important operational working space.
Located on Kingsley Road, Lincoln, APSS are specialists in commercial interiors, office refurbishments and retail interior fit outs – with national clients in sectors including education, healthcare, industrial, commercial and retail.
Using Apogee’s brand colours of bright blue and white, APSS worked in partnership with the company to create a new layout which benefits from a new break area featuring bespoke furniture designed in APSS’ HQ in Lincoln, as well as new flooring.
New kitchen facilities have also been installed as part of the project – including white goods. This is as well as larger-sized toilet facilities, with an increased number of cubicles – designed and built by APSS’ in-house joinery department – as well as new washbasins and hand dryers.
The team worked around the clock to ensure the project was completed within Apogee’s time requirements.
APSS and Apogee have a relationship which spans more than a decade and will continue on future projects.
Alex Lewis, APSS project manager, said: “This has been a great project to work on as it provided a new challenge due to tight timescales, which we more than achieved.
“The fit out was completed whilst the office was still operational with minimum disruption to Apogee staff. We have worked very closely with Apogee’s project manager, Emma Silvey and on-site co-ordinator Tim Dickinson, to make sure that all the company needs were met.”
