Commercial agents Banks Long and Co required a fit out to HMT63 regulation standard for a new healthcare centre in Lincoln. The space was previously set up for an open-plan office space with private meeting rooms and was in a poor condition.

The transformation involved changes across the board from new coved and heat-welded vinyl safety floor finishes to ceiling tiles and decorations. We installed security doors for key card access only in restricted areas, created appointment rooms to include secured storage, units with sinks and clinical hand wash facilities, and coved work surfaces with hygienic wall cladding as splashbacks and sealed plinths.

The mechanical installation included a new Lossnay/Vam installation to supply mechanical fresh air to the consultation and examination rooms. The electrical installation was considerate of the equipment that particular clinic required and LED lighting to a LUX level that created a well-illuminated space.

In addition, surgical/hygienic privacy curtains were installed, along with a bespoke joinery “pass hatch” for samples to be passed from patients to professionals with discretion and finally a reception desk with protective screens.

Everything installed is designed for easy cleaning to NHS requirements.
